Dr. Catricia Tilford, M.D. is a board-certified bilingual general pediatrician. She is also fellowship trained in pediatric urgent care medicine. She completed her medical training from University of Missouri- KC School of Medicine’s six-year combined B.A./M.D. program in 2009. She is the Asthma Champion and lead pediatrician for telemedicine services at Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Kansas City, Mo. She has been a part of Asthma Ready Communities since 2019 as a participating of both Impact Asthma and Asthma Care Accelerator Echo programs. She is also one of the recipients of the 2019 American Board of Medical Specialties Quality Improvement Award for implementing quality improvement clinical workflows for Asthma care, particularly in the local pediatric Latinx community. She now serves as faculty mentor for the Asthma 3 – Community: Asthma Care and Education ECHO team. In her medical professions some of passionate areas of interest include, improvingpublic health disparities, early childhood developmentas well as improving the quality of life for children and adolescents with asthma.
