Michelle Dickens MSN, RN, FNP-C, AE-C is a nurse practitioner and certified asthma educator. An NP since 1997, she specializes in asthma care at the Ferrell-Duncan Clinic Department of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in Springfield, Missouri. She is the founder and coordinator of the CoxHealth Asthma Center, which works throughout the healthcare organization to standardize and improve asthma care. She serves as a guest lecturer and preceptor to practicing and student physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in a variety of settings. She has a passion for teaching healthcare providers about asthma and has presented at multiple national conferences on a variety of asthma topics.
