Peggy Gaddy, RRT, MBA, has served over 18 years as a manager in public health. She has served as the Coordinator for the Missouri Asthma Prevention and Control Program at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for over fifteen years. The position is responsible for the oversight of the asthma management and risk reduction grant development, policy development; define strategic issues, surveillance, program evaluation, and public information. In addition, the program is instrumental in developing, planning and implementing of state, regional, and community-based programs, coalitions and advisory boards, asthma management and health risk reduction initiatives. Prior to her public health career, Ms. Gaddy worked over 21 years in the hospital setting. Her last position was responsible for the development, implementation and reorganization of operations in the areas of Imaging, Laboratory, Respiratory Care, Pharmacy, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine and provided leadership and direction to managers in those areas.
